Remember sitting around the lunch table in 5th grade, sipping Nesquik and bargaining for someone else’s strawberry Go-gurt in exchange for a couple of your Lunchable crackers? We thought we could recreate that blissful innocence and happiness again by eating all of our favorite childhood foods — because surely they still hold up decades later.

Hold onto your Furbys and hamburger phones, folks: Cards Against Humanity has launched a 90s Nostalgia Pack, and it is truly all that and a bag of chips. If you thought your Tamagotchi was neglected before, he’s done for now. 

The original Cards Against Humanity is obviously hella fun, but those cards can get a little too real. The Nostalgia pack lets you take a break and throw it back to simpler times — you know, times when the president was only involved in one scandal.

Steven Spielberg on why we’re so obsessed with the ’80s

If anyone’s more obsessed than you with the ’80s, it’s Steven Spielberg.

The legendary director of new Easter egg-filled geek adventure Ready Player One reflected on why we’re so obsessed with nostalgia for the decade in a Q&A at the film’s Australian premiere in Sydney on Tuesday. 

And he should know — Spielberg directed, wrote or produced Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Gremlins, E.T., Poltergeist, The Goonies and more in the 1980s. 

Based on Ernest Cline’s 2011 science fiction novel, Ready Player One is set in a dystopian 2045 and follows the adventures of a teenager in an escapist VR game. Read more…
