Stephen Colbert acknowledges the Louis C.K. accusations

On the same day he was accused of sexual misconduct in the New York Times, comedian Louis C.Kcanceled his movie premiere and an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. It’s still unclear if and how Colbert and his late-night peers will handle the C.K. story; many of them worked with him closely or at least in the same circles.

But Colbert wasn’t about to pretend that nothing happened. He mentioned the Times story right out the gate to acknowledge C.K.’s absence on the show – and he did it in a segment about accused sexual predator Roy Moore. Read more…

Stephen Colbert has no time for born-rich people making obnoxious points about socialism, using innocent children. 

We’re referring to Donald Trump Jr.’s incredibly tone-deaf tweet on Halloween, which included a picture of his daughter Chloe looking sad, and a supposedly economic and political “lesson.” 

“Yes, it’s never too early to teach kids the danger of sharing,” Colbert said. “Also, it’s never too early to learn the proper spelling of ‘too.'”

“But while we’re at it, Don Jr., on Halloween, kids go to door to door to get free candy from the neighbors, because the kids don’t have it, and the neighbors do. That’s socialism,” Colbert added.  Read more…

Mark Ruffalo was a guest on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Tuesday night, and he addressed his now legendary snafu — when he live streamed the first ten minutes of Thor: Ragnarok via Instagram.

It turns out Marvel/Disney/Mickey Mouse’s hired goons asked Ruffalo to do an Instagram Live post before the first showing of Thor: Ragnarok, and he obliged. Unfortunately, he thought that to stop the stream you only have to press the one button. Nope, it’s two. Read more…
