Trump is thankful for himself this Thanksgiving weekend

TwitterFacebook

Trump doesn’t understand most things, and that appears to include how giving thanks on Thanksgiving works.

While the rest of America spent the holiday expressing their gratitude for family, health, plentiful meals, loved ones, and a host of other blessings, the President seems to have confused the spirit of Thanksgiving with the opportunity for a #SelfLoveSunday post.

So great that oil prices are falling (thank you President T). Add that, which is like a big Tax Cut, to our other good Economic news. Inflation down (are you listening Fed)!

History made with first LGBT kiss at Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

TwitterFacebook

The coldest Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on record had the most heartwarming of moments.

In a historic first at the world-famous Thanksgiving parade in New York City, the two lead actresses of the new Broadway musical “The Prom” kissed. The smooch between Caitlin Kinnunen and Isabelle McCalla was nationally broadcast and occurred during the Broadway show’s musical number in the 92nd annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

“The Prom” debuted on Broadway in October and is currently running at the Longacre Theatre in New York. The show is a story about two teenagers, Emma and her girlfriend Alyssa — played by Kinnunen and McCalla, respectively — living in small-town Indiana. The two high school students want to go to their prom together, but the school’s parent-teacher association cancels the dance altogether once they find out. Read more…

‘Saturday Night Live’ goes completely off the rails during ‘Space Thanksgiving’

TwitterFacebook

A good Saturday Night Live sketch is funny. A great one is so funny that some hapless performer — usually, but not always, the guest host — breaks down and laughs. But a perfect SNL sketch? That’s when everyone loses it.

That’s exactly what happened here in this Space Thanksgiving sketch. The trouble started when someone kicked over a prop at the very beginning, prompting a giggle from Kenan Thompson. Then, everyone openly struggled with the tongue-twisting script, bringing on more laughs. By the time Pete Davidson joined the party as a disembodied, electronically high-pitched voice less than a minute in, the sketch was already over. Read more…
