Jimmy Kimmel made a Scrabble board, but for Trump words

TwitterFacebook

Trump’s typos became comedy fodder again on Wednesday, with Jimmy Kimmel attempting to figure out what on earth a “smocking gun” is, as per the president’s now-deleted tweet.

On top of that, Kimmel made his very own Scrabble board, except it’s called “Scrabull” and the only words you can use are Trump-isms.

He has the best words, after all. Read more…

Hero ruins Trump’s Hollywood Walk of Fame star with a pickaxe

TwitterFacebook

Between diaper baby blimps and Trump impersonators holding live rats, it’s a golden age for spectacularly dumb, exceptionally good anti-Trump art.

I’m a particular fan of the latest Dadaist masterpiece on display at the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los AngelesOn Wednesday morning, an unknown man went to Trump’s star and proceeded to destroy it with a pickaxe.

Someone should put this is the Louvre.

President Trump’s star on the Walk of Fame was destroyed again this morning, after police say a man used a pick axe to deface his dedicated chunk of Hollywood Blvd. sidewalk. The suspect turned himself in to Beverly Hills Police@nbcla https://t.co/HiVTm4yOtV pic.twitter.com/4X1yNFQ6sV

Teacher sends back letter from White House, after correcting it

TwitterFacebook

Retired English teacher Yvonne Mason has spent much of her life correcting students’ writing.

But it’s a letter from the White House, signed by President Donald Trump, which has proved a pretty noteworthy correction exercise — and it’s attracted plenty of attention.

“If it had been written in middle school, I’d give it a C or C-plus,” she told The Greenville. “If it had been written in high school, I’d give it a D.”

Mason, who retired last year after a 17-year career in South Carolina, corrected the letter she had received in response to her concerns following the February shooting at Florida’s Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. Read more…

How ZTE became the focal point of US/China relations

Here in the States, ZTE has been content with a kind of quiet success. The Chinese smartphone maker has landed in the top five quarter after quarter (sometimes breaking the top three, according to some analysts), behind household names like Apple, Samsung and LG. Suddenly, however, the company is on everyone’s lips, from cable news […]

Jokin’ Chuck Schumer trolls Trump with #BeBest hashtag

TwitterFacebook

Uncle Chuck Schumer always goes for the joke — and sometimes, despite all odds, lands one.

The senate majority leader had a particularly good burn today, after the president launched one of his extended, demanded rants about the Iran deal. In response, Schumer tweeted the hashtag from the First Lady’s anti-bullying campaign.

“Senator Cryin’ Chuck Schumer fought hard against the Bad Iran Deal, even going at it with President Obama, & then Voted AGAINST it!” President Trump wrote, continuing his long-standing tradition of erratic capitalization. “Now he says I should not have terminated the deal – but he doesn’t really believe that! Same with Comey. Thought he was terrible until I fired him!” Read more…
