Every Tuesday night I have a fun little tradition where I change into my pajamas, grab a snack, cuddle on my couch with a blanket, and spend one full hour having a good, raw, knuckle-biting, mascara-bleeding kind of cry. 

Sound horrible? I’m well aware. But a year and three months ago I decided to let NBC’s heartbreakingly dramatic primetime show, This Is Us, into my life and these weekly sob fests are the repercussion.

I’m not alone. Over 14 million people around the world spend their Tuesday nights the exact same way — willingly allowing the show’s protagonists, the Pearson family, to emotionally destroy them week after week. Read more…

You’ve probably heard by now, but during its last episode NBC’s This Is Us revealed that a faulty Crock-Pot is what started the fire that potentially kills everyone’s favorite TV dad, Jack Pearson.

Since then, despite many attempts (and a newly created Twitter account) to convince everyone its products are safe and reliable, Crock-Pot’s brand name has been dragged through the mud and fans are boycotting the slow cookers.

As the PR fire continues to burn bright for the brand, they’ve enlisted the help of Jack Pearson himself — played by Milo Ventimiglia — to help clear Crock-Pot’s name before the Super Bowl. Read more…

American hero and Ghostbuster Leslie Jones is making her triumphant return to the Olympics this year, so buckle up and get ready to enjoy some hilarity while watching the top athletes in the world do their thing.

Jones will be joining NBC’s 2018 Winter Olympic Games coverage as a contributor in Pyeongchang, South Korea, NBC announced Wednesday, reprising her involvement with the apex of athleticism that began with 2016’s Olympics in Rio.

After nearly two full seasons, This Is Us finally revealed how the life-changing fire at the Pearson family home started, and ever since we’ve been hardcore Randall-ing out.

In Tuesday’s episode, titled “That’ll Be the Day,” fans learned that a finicky old Crock-Pot is to blame for the destructive blaze that may (or may not) end Jack’s life. But as the house went up in flames the episode left viewers on perhaps one of the most painful cliffhangers in the history of television.

As we anxiously await the remaining episodes, which promise to answer some of our most long-standing questions about Jack’s death, we can’t help but agonize over how our favorite TV dad is about to die. Read more…
