‘The Office’ hasn’t been revived yet, but at least we have Angela’s YouTube channel

TwitterFacebook

It’s been nearly five years since the finale of The Office aired on NBC, but fans still aren’t ready to let go of the beloved comedy just yetEspecially not Angela Kinsey.

On The Office, Kinsey played Angela Martin — Dunder Mifflin’s cat-loving, party-planning, fun-sucking employee who kept the accounting corner in constant fear. She’s starred in several other shows like New Girl and Haters Back Off! since The Office ended in 2013, but perhaps her greatest on-screen venture has been her YouTube show, Baking With Josh & Ange.

John Krasinski wants ‘The Office’ to return for a Christmas special. Here’s why that makes sense.

TwitterFacebook

Tis’ (potentially) the season for John Krasinski to make millions of peoples’ dreams come true.

Why? Well, the man wants The Office to come back for a Christmas special — a gift so great I might almost prefer it to a teapot containing his high school yearbook photo.

Rumors have been swirling in 2018 about a potential revival of the legendary NBC comedy, and while nothing’s official yet, Krasinski told IndieWire he’s definitely down to assume the role of Jim Halpert again, and even has some revival ideas of his own.

A brilliant artist reimagined characters from ‘The Office’ as cartoons

FACT: The Office will never die.

Sure, the NBC comedy ended in 2013, but the show’s beloved characters will live on in our hearts, minds, and apparently sketchpads forever.

The latest tribute to the Dunder Mifflin crew comes from Marisa Livingston, a Los Angeles artist who transformed Michael Scott and the gang into some of the most perfect cartoon characters we’ve ever seen.

‘The Office’ made a ‘Making a Murderer’ parody about the Scranton Strangler

TwitterFacebook

The official YouTube account of The Office released a video called “Making a Strangler” — a parody of Netflix’s docuseries Making a Murderer.

“Making a Strangler” seems to peg Toby Flenderson as the potential Scranton Strangler through a series of clips that suggest Toby was a murderer. On multiple occasions, Toby seemed a bit suspicious, saying the person who was convicted was possibly framed and obsessing over the strangler.

Of course, it ends up that Toby is not the Scranton Strangler, as evidenced by the time Toby visited the convicted man and was strangled. Read more…

The beloved Michael Scott parted ways from The Office in 2012, but his many legendary quotes are still celebrated to this day.

Daniel McCrystal, a clear fan of the NBC comedy, recently discovered that there’s a Michael Scott quote to perfectly sum up every college major, and WOW, it is something.

From accounting and English, to dance and pre-dental, McCrystal tweeted each major alongside a corresponding Scott quote, and the results are truly mind-blowing.

Kelly Kapoor and Ryan Howard attended a fancier version of The Dundies together

TwitterFacebook

Keep your hot dog cannons and 24-karat gold plated statues. The real winners of the 90th Academy Awards were all the hopeless romantics of the world, the friend-zone haters, the Mindy Kaling/BJ Novak stans.

Hilarious and talented IRL BFFs Mindy and B.J. — who I spend a great deal of my life wishing were more than just BFFsattended the Oscars together and everyone rightfully lost their cool.

The two beautiful people captured our hearts while working together and playing complicated couple Kelly Kapoor and Ryan Howard on The Office. So to see them at a tricked-out version of Michael Scott’s Dundie Awards for movies was A. LOT. Read more…

John Krasinski to men who aren’t sexually harassing women: ‘Don’t pat yourself on the back’

TwitterFacebook

John Krasinski, the actor best-known for his role as The Office’s resident “good guy,” Jim Halpert, has some thoughts about what men need to be doing to help fight sexual harassment.

He recently spoke about the #MeToo movement to Playboy, stressing how important it is for all men — even those who don’t think they’re part of the problem — to take action.

“If you’re a male CEO and you don’t harass people, don’t pat yourself on the back,” Krasinski told Playboy. “Get other people to be more like you.”

The actor went on to explain that he owes his present day beliefs on equality to his parents, who raised him “in a very old ideal of America.” Krasinski shared he was taught to always help out his neighbors, which is why he does so now without question. Read more…

Netflix executes perfect ‘The Office’ joke about Millie Bobby Brown

TwitterFacebook

Netflix’s Twitter presence continues to be a gift, this time with a delightful Stranger Things/The Office crossover tweet. In a screen shot from Season 2, episode 1, “The Dundies,” Michael prepares to present the office award for “Whitest Sneakers.” Office fans will know this award went to a rather tipsy Pam Beesly, but Netflix chose to honor Sunday night’s SAG red carpet look of one Millie Bobby Brown.
