Eminem and Beyoncé’s surprising new collaboration brought out the jokes on Twitter

TwitterFacebook

Eminem’s new single “Walk On Water” came as a surprise on Friday—not because it means the Detroit rapper is officially back but because it featured the one and only Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter.

Regardless of how you feel about Eminem, you have to admit—the Queen shined bright on this one. Her vocals are the first thing you hear and for a lot of people out there, it should have been the only one. Here are some of the funniest reactions to the unexpected collaboration.

Nutella quietly changes its beloved recipe

TwitterFacebook

Sorry, the old Nutella can’t come to the phone right now. Why? Oh … because it’s slightly different now.

Ferrero has quietly changed the recipe for its beloved hazelnut spread, a move that was first noticed by the Hamburg Consumer Protection Centre, a German consumer group.

According to a Facebook post from the group, Nutella’s sugar content increased from 55.9 percent to 56.3 percent. The presence of skim milk powder (yum) increased from 7.5 percent to 8.7 percent — likely sacrificing some cocoa in the process. The spread’s fat content, however, decreased from 31.0 percent to 30.9 percent. Read more…

Twitter’s search tool is blocking photo searches of #bisexual, but not #lesbian or #gay

TwitterFacebook

Twitter has a lot of explaining to do.

The social media platform is under scrutiny after several accounts noticed the search tool had begun to bar photos (as well as videos and news) tagged with the #bisexual hashtag — and others.

Today @Twitter @TwitterSupport introduced a search filter blocking photo search on #bisexual and #bisexuality hashtags (among others). (1/2) pic.twitter.com/W2yGZ0BrXH

— BiPrideUK (@BiPrideUK) November 4, 2017

The hashtags #bisexual and #bisexuality are not the only ones to be filtered out by Twitter’s search tools. Included in the block are words like “butt,” “boobs,” and various sexual slurs, but as historian and CUNY professor Angus Johnston (@studentactivism on Twitter) pointed out in a series of tweets, there are inconsistencies with what has been blocked and what hasn’t.  Read more…

Larry David angered the internet with his ill-conceived Holocaust jokes on ‘SNL’

TwitterFacebook

Larry David returned to the Saturday Night Live spotlight this weekend, but things got off to a rocky start.

The Curb Your Enthusiasm comedian made some uncomfortable remarks about Jews and mounting accusations of sexual conduct by Harvey Weinstein, but he drew criticism when his stand-up monologue delved into an even thornier subject: the Holocaust.

“I’ve always been obsessed with women and I’ve often wondered, if I had grown up in Poland when Hitler came in power and was sent to a concentration camp—would I still be checking out women in the camp?” he said, near the end of his opening monologue.   Read more…

Watch this hilarious student turn a Lil Uzi Vert song into Bio 101 study material

TwitterFacebook

You just gotta do what you gotta do for extra credit—and if that means you go viral, then so be it.

Morehouse College sophomore Julien Turner learned this when he dropped a hilarious music video on Twitter after his Bio 101 professor told the class to create one for the chance to curve their grades.

“Professor: Make a music video over any subject we’ve covered and I’ll curve your overall grade,” he tweeted along with the video.

“I just kept hearing the ‘all my cells are dead’ verse in my head,” he explained, in regards to picking Lil Uzi Vert’s “XO Tour Llif3” to cover.  Read more…

Sean Hannity had a perfect Freudian slip while talking about Hilary Clinton

TwitterFacebook

After discounting Manafort’s indictment as irrelevant and shrugging off Papadopoulos’ guilty plea with an “everybody makes mistakes” ¯\_(ツ)_/¯, Fox News host Sean Hannity turned to the person whose crimes he thought investigators should be focusing on: President Hillary Clinton.

But his call out of Clinton didn’t necessarily go as planned…

Forget pineapple. Twitter might have found an even more heinous pizza topping.

TwitterFacebook

Since the beginning of this exasperating year, there have been many, many debates on social media.

From politics to social justice, none have been more demanding than the infamous controversy on whether or not pineapples belong on pizza.

Now, a new contender has surfaced sending Twitter users into an all-out frenzy.

If you thought pineapple pizza was a bad idea, we regrettably introduce the strawberry pizza pie – and yes, it’s as gross as it sounds.
