All the details you missed in the ‘Westworld’ Season 2 Super Bowl trailer

TwitterFacebook

Amidst the glitz, the glam, the sporting, the ads, the Solos, and the Timberlake, one spectacle stood out more than any other at the Super Bowl: Westworld’s Season 2 trailer.

Playing out to a classical rendition of Kanye West’s ‘Runaway,’ the 2-minute trailer presented a dearth of motifs and hidden messages that can help us predict what’s to become of a Westworld ruled by the Hosts.

So here are the most important reveals and secrets from the Westworld Season 2 trailer.

1. An encrypted message leads to Delos corporate website

Crafty redditor Askin1 deciphered a binary code briefly displayed in the trailer to find www.delosdestinations.com. This isn’t the first Delos website to come out of Westworld — and that older one seems to have new mysteries to uncover (try pressing shift or talking to Aeden, for example). Read more…

Behold: You can now see selfie kid’s Justin Timberlake selfies

TwitterFacebook

The star of the Super Bowl halftime show was not Justin Timberlake, but rather the unsuspecting, cell phone-obsessed teen he happened upon in the audience during his performance.

After fumbling around with his phone instead of enjoying a Grammy-winning pop star in his presence, 13-year-old Ryan McKenna successfully managed to capture a perfect selfie with Timberlake.

Though the Super Bowl is over, the epic selfies will live on for eternity.

Please enjoy:

David Harbour is as smooth as butter in this hilarious Super Bowl ad for Tide

What with that whole weird pod-eating trend that’s been skyrocketing among teenagers lately, it’s been something of a tricky year so far for Tide.
They needed a good, solid Super Bowl ad to really give them that laundry-fresh start.

Watch Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon have a full conversation entirely in song

TwitterFacebook

Speaking actual words to another person is all very well and good, but it’s much more fun if you can sing them instead.

In the clip above, Justin Timberlake joins Jimmy Fallon pre-Super Bowl for a “Songversation”. It’s sort of like a normal conversation, but with as much singing as humanly possible. They cover cookies, playdates, dip — all the big topics.

If only all conversations had harmonies this sweet. Read more…

Philadelphia Eagles win Super Bowl, poles now being climbed

TwitterFacebook

It’s party time in Philly.

The Philadelphia Eagles ended a 57-year gap between championships by beating the New England Patriots on Sunday, claiming their first ever Super Bowl title.

When the Eagles won the NFC championship two weeks ago, the city descended into relative chaos as fans ascended Crisco-greased poles designed to keep them from doing so.

Ahead of the Super Bowl, police opted for hydraulic fluid (a.k.a. motor oil) as a deterrent.

Philadelphia pole climbers: meet your match tonight. As predicted, no Crisco on the poles. Instead, police are using hydraulic fluid. And it’s water resistant, too, they said, so this afternoon’s rain won’t make it any easier for you to climbpic.twitter.com/5GvI9BRhaQ

Janet Jackson fans were not impressed with Justin Timberlake’s Super Bowl halftime show

Justin Timberlake’s particularly humdrum Super Bowl halftime show on Sunday included a pretty uh, notable Stella McCartney shirt, a contentious Prince tribute, a selfie with a nonplussed kid, and considerable similarities to a Gap Ad.
So, obviously, …

Justin Timberlake’s shirt was the only risk he took during his Super Bowl halftime show

During Justin Timberlake’s super safe, not-very-interesting halftime show, the majority of people were focused on one thing: his shirt.
JT came back to the pop culture landscape this past week with an album that contained no subtlety. It’s titled Man…
